SkyTwin is an open-source desktop application that automates personal tasks (email triage, calendar management) by building a local model of your preferences. The full source code is published at github.com/jayzalowitz/skytwin under the Apache 2.0 license. You are free to inspect, modify, and redistribute the source under those terms.
Your use of SkyTwin's source code is governed by the Apache License 2.0. These Terms of Service describe additional terms that apply when you use the official SkyTwin desktop application or the public OAuth client SkyTwin ships with for Google sign-in.
SkyTwin requests access to your Google account via OAuth 2.0. When you grant access, SkyTwin will read and modify Gmail and Calendar data on your behalf, as described in the Privacy Policy and on the OAuth consent screen.
You agree to use SkyTwin only with Google accounts you own or are authorized to manage. You agree not to use SkyTwin to access another person's Google account without their permission.
Your use of Google services through SkyTwin remains subject to Google's Terms of Service and the Google API Services User Data Policy.
SkyTwin is provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. The Apache 2.0 license terms apply. The author makes no representations about the reliability, accuracy, or availability of the software, and is not responsible for any decisions the software makes, executes, or recommends.
SkyTwin can be configured to act on your behalf — archive mail, decline invites, schedule meetings, and more. You retain full responsibility for the consequences of those actions. SkyTwin provides explanation records, undo support, and approval gates as built-in safety mechanisms, but it is your responsibility to review SkyTwin's behavior and adjust the trust tier, spend limits, and approval policies to fit your risk tolerance.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the author of SkyTwin shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from your use of the software, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, goodwill, data, or other intangible losses, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
You may stop using SkyTwin at any time by quitting the app and revoking its OAuth access at myaccount.google.com/permissions. The author may discontinue, modify, or revoke the bundled public OAuth client at any time; you may continue running the open-source code with your own OAuth credentials configured in the app's Setup page.
Material changes to these terms will be announced in the project CHANGELOG on GitHub and reflected here. This page is versioned in git alongside the source code.
